Yanelee Pérez-Haddock, Psy.D., has been with Shepherd Center since 2025 and is a postdoctoral fellow in the Neuropsychology Fellowship program.
Dr. Perez-Haddock has trained in a range of clinical settings, working with individuals affected by neurodegenerative conditions, traumatic brain injury, and medically complex cases. Her clinical interests include cognitive rehabilitation, culturally responsive neuropsychological assessment, and improving quality of care and quality of life for patients with complex neurological conditions. Her recent dissertation explored the impact of traumatic brain injury on both survivors and their caregivers. She has presented her work at national and international conferences and is active in several professional organizations. At Albizu, she served as the Psy.D. Department Student Leader Liaison and co-founded the university’s first neuropsychology research lab, promoting student mentorship and international collaboration. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Perez-Haddock is deeply committed to advancing accessible, culturally competent, and evidence-based neuropsychological care.
